Beginnings: Journey to Faith
6:30 - 7:30 PM in the Family Life Center, room 206
Led by Meg Witmer-Faile

Beginnings is a small-group spiritual journey for seekers, new believers, and longtime Christians who want to explore the basics of Christianity in a relaxed, nurturing atmosphere. Participants have the opportunity to bring questions, gain knowledge, and form or deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. Presented from a Wesleyan perspective, this 11-week study will include such questions and topics as:

  • So, is this all there is? (Introduction)

  • Who is Jesus, and why should I care? (Jesus Christ)

  • Why am I not where I want to be? (Sin and the Cross)

  • What happens when I die? (Death and Resurrection)

  • Can I trust God? (Providence and Suffering)

  • How does God speak to me? (The Bible)

  • If I don’t feel lost, why do I need to be found?

  • (Salvation and Conversion) Can I start again? (Forgiveness and Wholeness)

  • How do I speak to God? (Prayer)

  • How can I make a life and not just a living? (The Good Life)

  • Why should I join any group that will have me as a member? (Church Membership)

Our journey kicks off on January 4th as part of the Wednesday Night Life Series.

Women's Bible Study
6:30 - 7:30 PM in the Family Life Center, room 207
Led by Michelle Keiffer

It’s not easy being a woman in today's world. The demands and expectations we face can be overwhelming. Deep within, we long to meet with God and be changed. During this study we will meet women of the Bible who encountered God and were forever changed. Their stories can encourage us through their failures and successes. Even though they lived long ago, they speak with fresh relevance to the issues in our lives today.

Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University
