Hurricane Relief Support

In addition to prayers, many of you have asked how you can help. The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is currently working with disaster coordinators and early response teams to provide relief to the many people whose lives have been impacted by hurricane/tropical storm Harvey. Detailed information on their latest efforts and ways you can help are available at umcor.org

You may also make a donation at Kellerumc.org and note that the funds are to support Hurricane Relief. The Central Texas Conference will let us know what their needs are as soon as they are determined and we will pass that information along!

Central Texas Conference Early Response Teams

One of the primary ways the Central Texas Conference responds to disasters is via our Early Response Team (ERT). The mission of an ERT is to provide a caring presence in the aftermath of a disaster, under very specific guidelines that enable a team to be productive and caring while causing no further harm or burden to the affected community.  If you would be interested in being trained as a part of the Conference Early Response Team (ERT), you may become certified by attending a class. Registration is required and you must also be MinistrySafe compliant.
