WORSHIP
Our youth are encouraged to participate in worship in a
variety of ways. Youth are a vital part of our congregation
and it is our goal to help them find areas that they may
serve based on their gifts and their interests.
Many of our youth volunteer as ushers, soloists,
musicians, greeters and readers.
SUNDAY MORNING GATHERINGS
On Sunday mornings students meet for fellowship and a look into the bible.
Our students are encouraged to bring their tough questions to the
conversations so that we can begin to better understand how we relate
to our faith, to God and to the bible in our everyday lives.
Jr. and Sr. high meet at 9:30 AM in the youth house.
Sr. High (9th-11th) meets in the Hallelujah Center,
room 4, at 11:00 AM.
Jr. High meets in the Youth house at 11:00 AM.
BASIC (Brothers And Sisters In Christ)
BASIC is open to high school and middle school
students on Sunday nights from 5 to 7:00 p.m. The
group meets in the Family Life Center for
fellowship, fun, food, and biblical application.
RITE 12
This program is for Seniors in High School.
It is custom tailored to the needs and interests
of high school seniors. It provides a rite of passage
that both honors that stage of life our 12th graders
are in as well as offers valuable life lessons
that they can take with them on the next leg of their journey.
CAMO (Conversations and
Mission Outreach)
Wednesday Nights
6:30 - 8:30 PM
Local Mission Work
Twice a month our Jr. and Sr. High youth go into the
community to serve in various areas such as helping
at the Community Storehouse, doing repair and cleaning
projects for neighbors in need as well as other local
mission projects in our immediate area.
Social Justice Conversations
Twice a month our youth get together to talk about the various
issues that concern and affect us in our daily lives and how
our faith can help us make sense of the issues around us.
These small groups are student led by our Rite 12 seniors.
