5th and 6th Grade Fellowship
On most Sunday nights throughout the year, 5th and 6th graders meet together for a time of food, fellowship and fun with each other. Check out what events are coming up!
We need adults to assist during these events which happen every 2nd and 4th Sunday so if you can serve in this capacity, please contact Martha Houghteling.
Sunday school for 5th and 6th graders is offered in Room 204 Each Sunday at 9:30 and 11am. We are in need of adult helpers for this class, so if you can serve in this way, contact Martha Houghteling.
Children in grades four through six serve in traditional worship services by bringing light into the services, assisting with offering plates, helping the pastors, and extinguishing the candles at the end of the service.

Created By God
A Study of Human Sexuality with a Christian Foundation
Created by God for 5th-7th grade students introduces the cycle of human growth and development. Class time will help students begin to understand the way God created us as boys and girls and how our sexuality is a big part of the way we are made. Participation in this study will provide basic biological and developmental information, build self-esteem in the students, strengthen communication skills among older elementary girls and boys and between them and their parents, and introduce participants to the fact that their sexuality is an integral part of being human. Students will learn and practice using proper terminology. This course also provides a safe environment for students to participate in open discussions about physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual changes that children face as they reach adolescence and puberty.
