Keller UMC provides many programs for you to get involved with your church family on Wednesday nights. Whether you participate in one of these programs or you are just looking to enjoy a delicious meal with a group of friendly faces rather than having to cook and clean after a long day at work, you're welcome to join us for a Midweek Oasis.
Each Wednesday dinner is served from 5:30 to 6:30pm in the Family Life Center/Gym. The setting will be come and go so arrive at the time that best suits your schedule. Take a moment to relax and get to know each other while having a warm meal and friendly conversation.
The menu for upcoming weeks is below. The cost is $5 for 13 and up, $3 for 3-12 and under 3 free, with a $20 family maximum. Payment can be cash, check or credit card.
July 19: Lean top round beef cubes smothered in a rich beef gravy served atop a bed of white rice with a side of mixed vegetables. Kid's option: Breakfast sausage patty served with pancake and syrup.
July 26: Barbecue chicken breast served with baked macaroni and cheese and roasted zucchini.
August 2: Baked potato bar - option of bacon, chili, chicken, broccoli and cheese, sour cream and chives.
August 9: Pot roast with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. Kid's option: Sloppy Joes served with tater tots.
August 16: Sub Station - option of meatballs,. black forest ham, smoked turkey, salami, provolone, mozzarella, cheddar, shaved lettuce and tomato. Kid's option: Grilled cheese and potato chips.
August 23: Beef anc chicken fajitas with strips of bell pepper and onion served on flour tortillas with Spanish rice and charro beans. Kid's option: Cheese quesadillas with Spanish rice and charro beans.
August 30: Baked Ziti, ground beef and marinara topped with cheddar, served with Italian blend salad. Kid's option: Pepperoni pizza served with salad.
September 6: Center cut pork chops stuffed with Creole cornbread stuffing and glazed carrots. Kid's option: Baked pork chop with macaroni and cheese and green beans.
September 13: Chopped steak served with parsley potatoes and broccoli with cheese. Kid's option: Cheeseburger sliders with baked French fries.
September 20: Made from scratch meatballs served over angel hair pasta served with Italian blend salad. Kid's option: Spaghetti and meat sauce served with salad and applesauce.
September 27: Breakfast for dinner - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy.
