This class studies biblical issues to gain a clearer understanding of the Bible and prayer as it relates to our families, our lives, and ourselves.
Open Door — George Foster Takemoto - Family Life Center Stage (Room 201 until 9/14/08)
Various book studies and discussion questions with class participation make for a lively and fun discussion. This class also meets at 11:00. Both classes cover the same material each week, so pick the one that best fits your schedule.
Seekers — Don Sumner and Richard Lapp - Room 110, Family Life Center
The majority of the class is in the senior group, however all ages are welcome. Studies are Bible-based, and a study guide is usually used to facilitate group discussion.
Wesley — Dwight Lee - Room 108, Family Life Center
This group uses a “lively” discussion approach to topics and books. All ages are welcome.
Kroger — Rev. Robin Stevens - Kroger Grocery Store on Rufe Snow and North Tarrant
This group of seniors meets for coffee and discussion.
Friends in Faith — Keith Monge - Room 9, Hallelujah Center
A Bible/scripture based class with emphasis on interaction to generate energetic discussions and reflection around the lessons. We also enjoy fellowship time outside of class and are involved in various ministries within the church. Approx. ages: 25-50.
New Life — Howard Nelson and Greg Taylor - Room 2, Hallelujah Center
This open-minded group of all ages enjoys examining and discussing non-traditional religious literature to enhance their Christian journey.
Bible Journey — Julie Sizemore - Room 7, Hallelujah Center
Various book studies with daily scriptural readings to tie into the material discussed on Sunday. All ages are welcome.
Searching the Scriptures — Room 4, Hallelujah Center
Bible study using various study guides.
Adult Confirmation — Rev. Robin Stevens - Coffee House, Family Life Center Gym Floor (Begins 9/14/08)
Parents of sixth-graders, come join the journey with your youth. Classes will run concurrently with Youth Confirmation. Also, this would be a perfect time for anyone who did not grow up as a United Methodist to come and learn what it all means. Or perhaps, you would just like to brush up on our United Methodist history, teachings, beliefs, and practices. Everyone is invited!
ARK — Rev. Robin Stevens - Room 3, Hallelujah Center (Begins 9/14/08)
“Adults Relating to Kids” is new parenting program based on research that shows the value of a child’s self-esteem in relationship to the quality of relationship with the primary adults in his/her life. ARK is a positive approach to parenting with a Christian perspective. Parents of children of all ages are invited to join this class.
S.T.A.R.T. Parent Group — Chris Johnson - Room 8, Hallelujah Center
Our START group (Someone Talking About Raising Teens) is for all you parents of teens and pre teens! We meet the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Come at 9:30 or 11:00. The discussion format of the class gives you an opportunity to talk with other parents about what it takes to raise a teen in this world. If you have ever had a question you just didn’t know how to answer, or a doubt about how to handle a situation, don’t miss this discussion!

Children/Nursery

Nursery— Tanya Turner - Rooms 200A (toddlers 2 to 3 years) and 200B (babies), Family Life Center
Available Sunday morning and during Wednesday Night Life. To schedule childcare for a church meeting or event, contact Tanya Turner, nursery coordinator. Children are signed in and a beeper given to the parents. Sign-in is outside the church office located between the Family Life Center and sanctuary.

3 and 4 Year Olds— N/A - Rooms 109, Family Life Center
“Traditional” Sunday School is offered for 3 and 4 year olds in the lower level of the Family Life Center (the gym) room 109.
K through 5th Grade— N/A - Various Rooms, Family Life Center
Sunday school is offered to K through 5th Grade. They meet in assigned rooms in the Family Life Center.
6th grade— N/A - Room 206, Family Life Center
Confirmation class meets during the school year at 9:30 and 11:00 in room 206.
