Rev. Daniel Hawkins was appointed to be our pastor of administration and missions in June of 2010. Rev. Hawkins has a passion for helping people to encounter God both in the church and out in the world.

As a very firm believer that we encounter Christ when we reach out beyond the walls of the church and serve our neighbors in need, Rev. Hawkins seeks to lead outreach ministries that give our church members the opportunity to be engaged in hands on mission in our local community and abroad.

Rev. Hawkins is a native of the Waco area, and he was previously appointed to First United Methodist Church of Coolidge in the Waco District. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity degree at Perkins School of Theology at SMU.

In his free time, Daniel enjoys spending time with his lovely wife – April – and their beautiful daughter Abigail. Daniel is also an avid sports fan, and enjoys participating in the church’s softball and basketball ministries.
